Science Made Simple and MIT OpenCourseWare

MIT OpenCourseWare (MIT OCW) is an initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to put materials from its courses online, partly free and openly available to anyone. As of mid-2013, materials from 2150 courses were available online.

MIT chose to include images and explanations from the Science Made Simple article "Why is the Sky Blue?" in their online course "Introduction to Applied Nuclear Physics."
